St. Barnabas Church, Warwick has been a central part of Apponaug village for over 125
years. We are a diverse group of Christian believers, each of us on a faith journey. We welcome all people – your questions, your ideas, your passions, your stories and your
experiences – all those things that make you the unique person God created you to be.
As a parish within the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island we are also a member of the World-wide Anglican Communion. As Anglicans our theology worship and organization structures embody aspects of both Roman Catholicism and Reformed Protestantism.
This makes us attractive to people from many religious backgrounds who are seeking a new church home.
We invite you to worship with us on Sunday morning at 8:00am or 10:00am. A mid-week
Eucharist is held each Wednesday morning at 10:00am. from September through June. Holy Eucharist is also celebrated on all of the Principal Feasts of the Church. You can
find a description of the different services on our Worship page. The church is air conditioned for comfortable worship during the summer months.
We also have a Hearing Assistance System for the hearing impaired.
If you are looking for a place to call your spiritual home, come and see if St. Barnabas Church is for you.
Mission Statement:
